23 June 2026: 2026 NSW iAwards Ceremony

The NSW iAwards celebrate the people and organisations shaping Australia’s digital future through innovation, technology and impact. Recognising excellence across industry, government and research, the awards showcase solutions that address real-world challenges and deliver meaningful outcomes for communities.

On 23 June 2026, leaders from across government, academia and industry will gather to celebrate the finalists of the NSW State iAwards, with winners and merit recipients progressing to the National iAwards later this year.

This year’s keynote address will be delivered by Laura Christie PSM, Deputy Secretary, Digital.NSW and NSW Government Chief Information and Digital Officer. As one of the state’s leading voices in digital transformation, Laura plays a key role in driving innovation, digital capability and service delivery across NSW Government.

The Connectivity Innovation Network is proud to announce that our Secure Multi-Organisational Data Sharing (SMODS) has been named a NSW State Finalist in the Government & Public Sector category.

SMODS enables secure and privacy-preserving data sharing across organisations while maintaining control over sensitive information. The platform has been designed to support trusted collaboration across sectors where secure data exchange is critical.

Recognition in the Government & Public Sector category highlights the growing importance of secure data sharing in enabling more connected, resilient and digitally enabled public services.

Congratulations to Dr. Xu Wang and Professor Ren Ping Liu from the University of Technology Sydney on this achievement and looks forward to celebrating alongside fellow innovators at the 2026 NSW iAwards.
