Dr Ian Oppermann appointed as Australia’s Data Standards Chair

The Connectivity Innovation Network is delighted to announced that CIN Director Dr Ian Oppermann will be the new Data Standards Chair. The role will encompass the Consumer Data Right (CDR) and Digital Identity data standards.

The CDR is Australia’s consumer data-sharing system. It is designed to help consumers safely share and control their data to make more informed financial decisions.

Dr Oppermann is a well know champion of standards and has led the development of international ISO/IEC data standards, the NSW AI Assurance Framework and data sharing frameworks.

The CIN is privileged to have Dr Ian Oppermann as its Director who contributes to so many critical initiatives.
