The Connectivity Innovation Network (CIN) made its official launch on the 31^st May 2022 at UTS Tech Lab. The objective of the Network is to promote greater collaboration between research, industry and government and foster innovation to adapt to urgent connectivity challenges facing NSW.

In attendance were members, partners, and stakeholders drawn from a wide cross-section of industry, academia and government.

The UTS Deputy Vice Chancellor Glenn Wightwick formally opened proceedings, followed by Chief Strategy & Innovation officer of NSW Telco Authority Jane Want, and Board Chairperson Shane Fitzsimmons. CIN Director Ian Oppermann introduced the CIN office and the Board, then gave an update on the CIN’s activities. This was followed by a tour of the UTS Tech Lab facilities.
