As the founder and host of the Australian Beyond 5G Connectivity Summit, the NSW Connectivity Innovation Network is delighted to announce the 3rd Australian Beyond 5G Connectivity Summit, to be held on 17 & 18 October 2024, at UTS in Sydney.

With a focus on Open RAN (Radio Access Networks), the inaugural Australian Beyond 5G Connectivity Summit in 2022 drew together industry leaders, researchers and government representatives. The keynotes speakers included prominent representatives from Japan, Europe, US and Australia.

With the deployment of 5G accelerating in Australia and around the world, the mobile communications industry and the research community are asking some important questions including:

  • How can we maximize the return on investment in 5G infrastructure?
  • What are the emerging technologies for beyond 5G (B5G) systems we should start embracing?
  • What would be the best strategy to prepare for future network transitions to 6G?In 2023, the 2nd Australian Beyond 5G Connectivity Summit deepened and broadened the above discussions. In particular, the summit provided a forum to share the experience of those involved in the current 5G roll-out and the B5G roadmaps of leading global companies
