The Connectivity Innovation Network will be running short coastal trials of its Rapidly Deployable Large Area Wi-Fi (LAWIFI) system this summer.
Working with Surf Life Saving NSW, LAWIFI deployments will be installed at three popular coastal locations across NSW: Garie Beach, Wattamolla in Royal National Park, and Warriewood Beach.
The trials will explore how extended, large-area connectivity can support day-to-day beach operations and improve communications access in environments where mobile coverage can be limited, particularly during peak summer conditions.
Get to know more about these trials on the LAWIFI Coastal Trial webpage.
Updates on the progress of the LAWIFI coastal trials will be shared as the deployments take place.
