4th Annual Australian Beyond 5G Connectivity Summit 2025

Pioneering the path from 5G to 6G for Australia’s future

Australia’s journey beyond 5G is accelerating, driven by the convergence of advanced networks, new spectrum models and the ambition to create a more connected, resilient nation.

Now in its fourth year, the Australian Beyond 5G Connectivity Summit brings together the people shaping that future: leaders from government, industry and research working at the forefront of next-generation communications.

Hosted by the Connectivity Innovation Network, this national forum explores the technologies, standards and strategies that will define Australia’s transition from 5G to 6G. Through open dialogue and collaboration, the Summit provides a platform to align national priorities, share insights from global initiatives and strengthen the partnerships that underpin real-world progress.

Last year’s introduction of two dedicated tracks, Industry and Research, was met with strong engagement across sectors. In 2025, this format returns, building on its success to deliver even deeper discussion and clearer pathways from innovation to implementation.

The 2025 programme features:

  • Day 1 – Industry Track: Deployment challenges, market forces and regulatory perspectives shaping Australia’s network evolution.
  • Day 2 – Research Track: Breakthroughs and emerging capabilities from Australia’s leading universities and global research partners.

Join us as we pioneer the path from 5G to 6G, advancing innovation, resilience and connectivity for Australia’s digital future.
