Connectivity Innovation Network Board Chair Shane Fitzsimmons AO AFSM GAICD will present at Comms Connect Melbourne 2026 on Thursday 15 October.

Shane will present “Collaboration is driving innovation in critical communications”, drawing on his experience across emergency management, public safety and organisational leadership to explore the role collaboration plays in driving innovation in critical communications.

His presentation will highlight the value of bringing together government, industry, emergency services and research to develop and implement practical solutions to complex operational challenges.

Collaboration has been central to CIN’s approach since its establishment, with the network bringing together government agencies, universities, industry partners and emergency service organisations to develop and trial new connectivity technologies for public safety and disaster resilience.
