The Connectivity Innovation Network is pleased to share the upcoming launch of the UTS Cybersecurity Precinct—a new immersive facility dedicated to accelerating Australia’s cyber resilience.

Located in the heart of UTS, the precinct has been purpose-built to drive innovation, shape future talent, and foster deep collaboration across government, industry, and academia. The launch event will bring together leaders from across these sectors for an engaging evening of discovery, dialogue, and networking.

The evening will include a tour of the precinct’s cutting-edge infrastructure, followed by a panel discussion hosted by CIN’s director, Professor Ian Oppermann, former NSW Chief Data Scientist, UTS Industry Professor, Commonwealth Data Standards Chair, and Co-founder of ServiceGen.

The panel will explore the growing role of industry in shaping national cyber defences, the importance of cross-sector collaboration, and how businesses can navigate a rapidly evolving cyber threat landscape.
