The Connectivity Innovation Network is opening a Call for Proposals focused on Vehicle as a Node (VaaN) technologies, supporting short research projects aimed at extending Wi-Fi coverage around emergency service vehicles.
Description
This Call for Proposals seeks short, focused research projects that explore how Vehicle as a Node (VaaN) technologies can extend reliable Wi-Fi coverage well beyond emergency vehicles when existing communications infrastructure is limited or unavailable.
The call is open to CIN members applying individually or as a consortium. Projects are expected to be practical, time-bound and focused on real-world emergency communications scenarios.
