Secure Multi-Org Data-Sharing Project: Final Demonstration
4 December @ 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Free
In November 2022, the CIN announced the grant funding of two pilot projects for research to develop innovative solutions to connectivity challenges. The Secure Multi-Org Data-Sharing project team are now ready to present their final project outcomes.
The team will demonstrate the capabilities of the real-time data-sharing platform for the potential use-case of multi-media data-sharing across multiple organisations. These scenarios will be mapped for the involvement of first responders, such as: Surf Life Saving, Fire and Rescue, council officers, and public communications to varying levels of access and control.
This data-sharing platform incorporates recommendations from the Australian Computer Society’s Data-Sharing Frameworks and has the ability to provide real-time data between essential personnel during emergency scenarios. This platform can provide first responders with the tools to more efficiently communicate and access critical information in the event of an emergency.
This project is led by the team (Prof. Ren Ping Liu and Dr Xu Wang) from University of Technology Sydney, in consultation with World Data Exchange.
